As Vader’s chamber opened Veers stood fairly close to me, I assume as a just in case I fell over again. He made sure I was stable before gaining Vader’s attention. We finally arrived at Vader’s chambers, the doors swooshed open and Veers and I shuffled into the room. I silently thanked the lord that not many officers were out and about. A few officers gave us weird looks, but Veers was strong enough to support me and make it look easy. “Thank you General,” I said as we walked out of my bedroom and worked our way to Vader’s meditation chamber. I did my best to put my arm over his shoulders but settled for his upper back since he was 6’3”. “Let me help,” Veers said as he put his arm around my waist again. Did I just get rid of the life from my legs? I huffed in annoyance as I fell onto the wall. Just to my luck though, I stumbled forward again. “I think so,” I breathed trying to take a step forward without Veers’ help. To be fair I did feel very weak for how little of my life force actually left me. Veers was very close to me, keeping his hand on my waist to stabilize me. “Oh, thank you,” I sputtered out, feeling my cheeks heat up in embarrassment. “Yes, that will work well,” I said as I tried to get up, I started to tumble a bit but Veers quickly caught me by wrapping one of his arms around my waist and grabbing my arm gently. “Well, I have news for Lord Vader, would you like to accompany me?” “I’m ok,” I said through deep breaths, “Just a bad meditation,” I said with a nervous chuckle afterward. “Inquisitor are you alright?” He asked, very concerned about my current state. When he saw me on the floor gasping he ran over to me. The door opened and General Veers walked in. Before Revan could comment on my attempt there was a knock at my door. I immediately fell out of meditation and collapsed on the floor, coughing and gasping for air. It really felt like part of my soul was leaving my body. I kept trying and meditating until I could feel myself lose a bit of my life. I focused on the force, trying my hardest to release my life force but it wouldn’t leave my body. When you’re ready, you need to let your life force not focus on you, but on the force that surrounds you so heavily,” Revan’s ghost instructed in a calming voice. “I have to learn it, I know I can,” I said as I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, reaching out to make a deep connection with the force. But that will require practice every day for hours at a time.” If you stay strong you should be able to reach your goal of a year or two. No matter how strong you are in the force, very few can master this and it takes years. It won’t hurt, it merely feels like you are getting weak, but you must be careful with how much you give away otherwise you may die,” Revan’s ghost stated as we both sat across from each other in my bedroom. “You will be able to feel when some of your own life leaves you. “How does one know when they’ve achieved that?” “The first step is to open yourself up in the force, in order for this to work, you will need to be able to give some of your own life force away.”
